CW11 Light-Paint Campaign from Kyle Broulette on Vimeo.
This is a brand campaign launched for CW11 KSTW. The goal was to express our brand as modern, hip, unique, creative and local. Our solution was to capture iconic locations while physically “branding” the shot, by writing our logo onscreen using a light source. This technique allows our brand to be physically present on location, creating a much stronger connection to the Seattle area than purely post graphics can achieve. The visual aspect of the graphic technique also appears creative and modern, associating those qualities with our brand. I acted as an Art Director on location and assisted with compositing. This campaign was awarded a CW APEX Award in 2014.

Kramerica Ind from Kyle Broulette on Vimeo.
After 25 years on air, what can you do to promote Seinfeld that hasn’t already been done? Our answer to this challenge, to keep it fresh, is the Kramerica Industries campaign. The concept is to re-write the script with creative editing and graphics, to make mock commercials for companies in a Seinfeld alternate universe. I acted as Art Director, produced the graphics and contributed to creating and writing the concepts.

Retro Postcards from Kyle Broulette on Vimeo.
The Retro Postcards campaign is a series of branding spots for CW11. The aim was to establish our station as local, unique, intelligent and funny. We accomplished this by surprising our audience with well written humor in the form of a web meme, that relates to our programming and the Seattle area in general. On this campaign I originated the concept, wrote the majority of the copy, acted as photo editor, designed and executed the graphic production. This campaign was nominated for an Emmy award in 2014.

HilariTV Brand Reel from Kyle Broulette on Vimeo.
HilariTV is a branded program block on CW11 KSTW. As a part of a station rebrand, this along with several other sponsorship blocks became a central theme of the station brand, tying various different genres of shows together with descriptive titles that end in the suffix TV, to connect the varying segments together. I was the originator of the brands title concept. I also worked as Art Director to integrate the new branding into a new CW graphics package, complete with a redesigned station logo and an entire overhaul of the stations graphic look.

CW11 Local Tag Graphics from Kyle Broulette on Vimeo.
This is a series of promo end-tags for CW11. The concept is to localize the content by placing a TV set in recognizable Seattle locations. I started by shooting time lapse photos, or time compressed video of the locations. I color corrected and composited elements in After Effects, then brought the footage into C4D to render the TV set. Final composites with TV content were done in After Effects.
